ABOUT
When:
Sunday afternoon and night.
Social Competition game times: 1:00pm, 2:10pm, 3:15pm, 4:20pm, 5:25pm, 6:30pm, 7:35pm, 8:40pm.
Junior Clinics - Lessons and Games: 12:30pm to 2:00pm.
Adult Training and Skills Sessions.
Sundays 12:30pm to 2:00pm.
Learn and practice the volleyball basics with our coaches.
Spiking, setting, serving, blocking.
Suitable for beginners to intermediate.
No commitment or sign up, just turn up and have a hit!
$13 for 90 minutes.
Where:
Mullum Mullum Stadium,
31 Springvale Road, Donvale, VIC 3111.
Cost:
$78 per team, per game.
(Cost per player varies between $7.80 to $13 depending on the size of your team).
A team bond fee of $78 is to be paid at the start of the season or when joining the competition.
This fee is returned at the end of the season (subject to By-Law 3.1).
Payments can be made by cash or card. ($1 surcharge for cards)
Registration:
Registration is free and new teams are welcome to join the competition anytime during the season.

Game:
Games are 60 minutes plus a 5 minute warm up.
Teams are graded into the following Divisions:
Division 1: The highest level for experienced players.
Division 1 Reserve.
Division 2.
Division 2 Reserve.
Division 3: For beginners or players new to volleyball.
Players:
6 per team is recommended. Teams must have a minimum of 4 players for a game.
If your team has 7 or more players, rotations or substitutions are used.
Seasons:
Playing seasons will match School terms - Summer: Terms 4 and 1. Winter: Terms 2 and 3.
2024 Winter Season:
Round 1 starts Sunday April 28, 2024.
Semi Finals Sunday September 22.
Grand Finals Sunday September 29.
2024 / 2025 Summer Season starts Sunday October 6.
There will be no games on the following Sundays for 2024:
January 7 - Stadium closed.
January 28 - Australia Day Long Weekend.
March 10 - Labour Day Long Weekend.
March 31 - Easter Sunday.
June 9 - King's Birthday Long Weekend.
December 29 - Stadium closed.
Finals:
Best of 5 sets with no time limit.
The top 4 teams from each division will play finals.
Week 1: Semi Finals.
Week 2: Grand Finals and 3rd Place Play-offs.
Uniforms:
Not required, but teams may wear uniforms if they choose to.
Volleyballs:
Our Social Competition uses Mikasa V300W Pro Volleyballs.
Net Height:
Divisions 1, 1 Reserve and 2 = 2.43 m (Standard International Men's Height)
Divisions 2 Reserve and 3 = 2.24 m (Standard International Women's Height)
Juniors = 1.90 m & 2.24 m

Mullum Mullum Stadium is Manningham's new $22 million, five court multi-use facility, located in Donvale.
